What we offer: Graviteq are offering IRATA Certified Rope Access Training. The training course will run up to 6 full days so Candidates gain a through understanding of industrial rope access theory as well as practical rope access manoeuvres.
Training is tailored to suit your individuals needs / budget:
$2100 standard course: Mon-Thurs training & Saturday assessment, this meets IRATA's requirements for 4 days training (30 hours)
Optional:
$250 Extra Day Training (Friday): The last day of training (generally Thursday) consists of a brief mock assessment conducted by Graviteq's own in-house IRATA Assessor. At the end of the last training day any gaps in your ability will be discussed and the option to come in for an additional days training may be recommended (but not mandatory) prior to the actual assessment. This is a great opportunity to fine tune the techniques you've learnt. Candidates that have trained the extra day can boast an impressive pass rate.
About the Trainers: Training will be conducted by our specialist trainers with over 40+ years collective IRATA Rope Access experience. Graviteq's Lead Trainer is also an IRATA Assessor making Graviteq WA's only rope access training Company owned and operated by an IRATA Assessor.
About the Venue: The venue has been custom designed to provide a fun, relaxed, realistic industrial rope access training environment. The training area is WA's only fully air-conditioned rope access training centre.
Trainers and Trainees: Course numbers have been limited to ensure Candidates individual training needs are met and competency levels not only meet but exceed the minimum standard.
What is rope access: IRATA International’s rope access system is an industry accepted safe method of working at height where ropes and associated equipment are used to gain access to and from the work position, and to be supported there. Globally there are currently over 20,000 active IRATA qualified rope technicians working over 500 IRATA member Companies.
Where do rope techs work: You'll find IRATA Rope Access Technicians working on: High-Rise buildings, mine maintenance shutdowns, offshore oil & gas platforms, geo-technical slope stabilisations, processing facilities and wind farms.
About the Certification: Successful candidates will be awarded an IRATA qualification which is globally recognised. Qualification validity is 3 years.
